Job Summary:

The Public Relations Officer PRO will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that enhance our public image and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:


1. **Communication Strategy Development:

- Create, implement, and manage PR strategies and campaigns that increase brand awareness and support business objectives.

- Develop and maintain a PR calendar to keep track of events, press releases, and key activities.


2. **Media Relations:**


- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and other media representatives.

- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.


3. **Content Creation:**

- Write engaging content for various channels, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media updates, and newsletters.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.


4. **Event Management:**

- Organize and oversee public relations events, such as press conferences, promotional events, and community outreach programs.

- Represent the organization at public and industry events to enhance visibility and foster relationships.


5. **Crisis Management:**

- Develop and implement crisis communication plans as needed.

- Serve as a spokesperson and manage communications during times of crisis.


6. **Monitoring and Reporting:**

- Monitor media coverage and analyze public opinion regarding the organization and its competitors.

- Prepare regular reports on PR activities, media coverage, and the impact of campaigns.


7. **Stakeholder Engagement:**

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between PR efforts and organizational goals.

- Engage with stakeholders, including customers, employees, and community members, to gather insights and address concerns.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience in public relations or a similar role 2-5 years preferred.- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proficiency in social media platforms and public relations tools.

- Experience in crisis management is a plus.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
